After adding some runs on board Sanath too got out and Mumbai Were struggling at 30 for 2 . But a superb and valuable partnership between Robin and Shaun Pollock made the match wide open for both ,they both added sparkling 51 runs for 3rd wicket stand but as soon RV Uthappa got out the match started slipping towards Chennai . With run rate increasing and wickets falling it became crystal clear that Chennai will get easy win but brilliant innings by Harbhajan Singh and AM Nayar made the match exciting and tense one in end but tricky bowling by Joginder in last over gave Chennai their second consecutive win in IPl.
