Even though it has conquered everything that came its way of late, on Wednesday it seemed Team India's blues got a bit deeper off the field.

Actually we are not talking about on-field woes, but the colour of the team's new kit for limited-overs cricket which has got a shade darker. http://www.cricblog.co.ukhttp://www.cricblog.co.ukhttp://www.cricblog.co.ukhttp://www.cricblog.co.ukhttp://www.cricblog.co.ukhttp://www.cricblog.co.uk This is just a preview Click here to View More......

India vs srilanka 4th odi

Thursday, February 5, 2009
Start time 14:30 local, (09:00 GMT)

ODI form guide (most recent first)

Sri Lanka LLLWW
India WWWWW

Teams

With the series in the bag, India are looking to experiment. That could be good news for Irfan Pathan and Rohit Sharma. With a packed schedule ahead, at least one of Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma is likely to be rested. India haven't yet announced their XII though.

India: (from) Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt & wk), Yusuf Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Pragyan Ojha, Praveen Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan

Chamara Kapugedera's lean trot continued with his low score on Tuesday but he is likely to retain his spot - his appointment as vice-captain for the Twenty20 side shows how highly the selectors rate him. One change they could make is bringing in either allrounder Angelo Mathews or Jehan Mubarak for Dilhara Fernando to bolster the batting.

Sri Lanka: (probable) 1 Sanath Jayasuriya, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene (capt), 5 Thilina Kandamby, 6 Chamara Kapugedera, 7, Angelo Mathews, 8 Farveez Maharoof, 9 Nuwan Kulasekara, 10 Muttiah Muralitharan, 11 Ajantha Mendis

Pitch and conditions

The pitches in the two games so far at the Premadasa have been totally different. While the first one stayed more or less the same through the match, the one used for the second game was a batting paradise in the first half but offered the spinners alarming turn and bounce during the Sri Lankan chase.

ODI form guide (most recent first)

Sri Lanka LLWWL
India WWWWW

Teams

A groin injury has forced Munaf Patel out of the series, and L Balaji has been called in as a replacement. However, it is unlikely he'll play, as India did well to contain the Sri Lankan batsmen in the second ODI with four frontline bowlers and the combination of Yusuf Pathan, Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina, who bowled 14 overs among them.

India (probable): 1 Virender Sehwag, 2 Sachin Tendulkar, 3 Gautam Gambhir, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 Suresh Raina, 6 Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt & wk), 7 Yusuf Pathan, 8 Zaheer Khan, 9 Praveen Kumar, 10 Pragyan Ojha, 11 Ishant Sharma.

Thilan Thushara has had two disappointing games, conceding 103 runs in 16 overs for one wicket. However, he played a critical role in bowling out Pakistan in the series decider in Lahore. Though he is under scrutiny, he is likely to retain his place.

Sri Lanka (probable): 1 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 2 Sanath Jayasuriya, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene (capt), 5 Thilina Kandamby, 6 Chamara Kapugedera, 7 Farveez Maharoof, 8 Thilan Thushara, 9 Muttiah Muralitharan, 10 Nuwan Kulasekara, 11 Ajantha Mendis.

Pitch and conditions

The third ODI will be played on a different track, but it is expected to behave in a similar manner to the one used in the last match. A score of 260 should be reachable, but fast bowlers may get some assistance for the first few overs under lights.
